Discover the top 15 most repeated Class 12 CBSE Maths questions. A must-read for students aiming for 95+ in the board exam.
If you’ve ever wondered “What kind of questions are definitely going to come in the exam?” — this blog is for you.
After years of analyzing Class 12 CBSE Maths papers and sample sets, I’ve identified a list of questions and formats that keep appearing again and again. These are the exact questions I prioritized while creating the 95+ Bundle for my students.
Let’s jump into the 15 most repeated questions that every Class 12 student should master:
Appears in multiple past years. Tests your substitution and formula recall.
1. Show that a function is continuous but not differentiable at a point
Very popular in Continuity & Differentiability section.
2. Application of Derivatives: Find the maximum/minimum value
Often appears as a 5-marker. Make sure to write proper justification.
3. Prove that a relation is an equivalence relation
Found in almost every alternate year.
4. Find the adjoint and inverse of a matrix
This type is a hot favorite. Matrix inverse questions are easy scoring if practiced well.
5. Evaluate a definite integral using substitution
Most common in the Integration section.
6. LPP: Form the linear programming problem from a word problem
Framing the constraints is where most students lose marks.
7. Probability: Conditional probability or Bayes Theorem
This is a guaranteed appearance. Usually a 4 or 5 marker.
8. Find general solution of a differential equation
This often appears exactly in the same format.
9. Application of Integrals: Area between curves
Expected almost every year. Visual understanding helps here.
10. Vector: Show that vectors are collinear / perpendicular
Super scoring if you know dot product and cross product basics.
11. 3D Geometry: Find the angle between two lines or line and plane
This appears consistently every year.
12. Determinants: Prove a property or evaluate using row operations
Found frequently, especially in internal choices.
13. Find the coordinates of a point dividing a line in a given ratio (Vectors/3D)
This concept keeps repeating in 3-mark questions.
14. MCQs based on Identity / Concept Trick
Even though it’s 1 mark, these repeat every year in slightly modified forms.
What You Should Do Next:
- Try solving each of these from previous 5 years’ papers.
- Don’t just solve them once—master the logic and method behind them.
- If you want chapterwise solved versions of all these, they’re included inside my 95+ Bundle.
